You sometimes feel exhausted? The cause could be too much stress or fatigue. Our mood may be affected by the weather. Indeed, hard winter, the days are short and dark but when spring is coming, it’s time to recharge our batteries.
Lack of energy could be the result of inadequate nutrition, may be due to poor physical condition, stress, mood or weather. According to studies, two out of three women recorded excessive feelings of fatigue. The main reasons are stress, pregnancy, breastfeeding, child care, hormonal imbalances during menstruation or menopause.
A high level of stress can act upon and give adrenaline gland sensations of fatigue, while lowering our immune system strength. While increases the risk of diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases (high blood pressure) and even cancer.
However, what actually is energy? Energy is the ability to be mentally and intellectually active. Plants get their energy from the sun, while people get their energy by consuming food. We need energy for the body’s metabolism and to make the brain work.
If you eat the right foods (foods must contain enough vitamins, minerals and fatty acids) in appropriate amounts, you will feel more energetic than when you consumed in large quantities. Inadequate food will make you feel swollen, tired and heavy. Researchers have shown that fatty foods consumed at breakfast will make you feel tired all morning.
Daily energy required:
Men ( 19-50 years ) = 2550 kcal / day
Women ( 19-50 years ) = 1940 kcal / day
The day should begin with breakfast cereals to boost your memory, concentration and mind power. If you skip a meal because of lack of time, or if you eat much less than usual (for example, when we are losing weight), or you eat poorly, our energy level will diminish quickly.
